This painting which includes a sail and steam-powered warship along with an ironclad Monitor-type gunboat in the distance depicts a specific event, possibly ÒVandaliaÕsÓ visit to Huntington Harbor in 1881.

Condition: Unexamined outside of frame. Paper appears to be laid down to a support. Greenish-Blue paper has some acidic contamination. Small disturbances in paper in left center and direct center between the two masts.
