This map of the United States was produced by Armstrong and was the centerfold in their 1940 Linoleum Rug catalogue. The wide black border depicts the development of transportation in the United States from horse and wagon to the streamlined trains of the 1930s. This rug has been personalized by a previous owner in red paint to reflect their travels.
